Am I eligible?
To be eligible for the graduate program, you must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident
- Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the last three years prior to July 2019 (2016, 2017, 2018, or by mid-year 2019)
- Have completed a degree or discipline required for the relevant stream
- Be willing to attend key assessment days in Sydney, as required
- Be available and eligible to commence the role in our head office in Sydney in July 2019.
What support will I have through the graduate program?
You will have a support network from Day 1 of the Graduate Program! You will have buddies and mentors who you can turn to with any questions. We understand that joining a new organisation comes with questions, so you will be supported when you start!
Your development journey will be supported by the online tool (GradPassport) that you will have access to 24/7. This is also a tool to connect with your graduate cohort so you are able to network with your peers through your journey!

Do I need a cover letter?
No, you will not need to attach a cover letter to your application form!
Do I need to be an Australian Resident to apply?
To be eligible to apply, you will need to either be; an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen at the time of your application.
How many years out of university are eligible?
To be eligible, you will need to have completed your studies (either undergraduate or postgraduate) within the last three years prior to July 2019.
Will late applications be accepted?
Unfortunately due to tight timeframes, no late applications will be accepted.
Does Novartis assist successful graduates with relocation?
We will require any graduates who are currently not residing in the role location (Sydney) to support their own relocation.
Does Novartis provide financial assistance to an Assessment Centre or Interview?
We will require any graduates who are currently not residing in the role location (Sydney) to cover their own travel costs.
